Weaving workshops
Weave and breathe
Enjoy a day being creative, learning a new skill and making something useful in a relaxing, restorative atmosphere.
My weaving workshops provide an opportunity to learn a new skill, to reconnect with nature, to unwind and spend a day being creative. Weaving requires focus and is relaxing at the same time and can be therapeutic. To make something beautiful and useful is rewarding and fulfilling. We have fun too!
They are usually held at the beautiful Felin Uchaf Centre, on the Llŷn Peninsula in north west Wales. All materials are supplied, and these are usually grown locally. Refreshments are also provided in the characterful Felin cafe building.
I can also run day or half day workshops for organised groups (5-8 people) please get in touch to discuss. Examples include willow planters/birdfeeders, wool seat pads using a peg loom, garden supports or a foraging basket.
All my workshops require a minimum of 5 participants, and a maximum of 8. Full payment is required on booking, which is non refundable unless there is someone who can take the place (there is usually a waiting list). If I have to cancel the workshop for any reason I will refund in full. You can have a look at my scheduled workshops and book a place below.

29th August - 5th September 2026
Come and spend a week with likeminded people on the magical island of Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island) to learn or hone your craft using the islands willow. This course is an introduction to round basket techniques, suitable for beginners but is also open to those with some experience who would like to learn more. Spend the mornings weaving and the afternoons exploring the island and the evenings eating and sharing together.
Learn new skills, learn about willow and withy management and leave the island with 2-3 of your own handmade baskets and memories to treasure.
Cost and more details to follow.
This course will be available to book via the Bardsey Island Trust website www.enlli.org but if you would like to register your interest in this, please contact me via the contact page.
